3월 12일에 자원봉사자가 필요하다는 연락이 왔습니다.
이날 즈음에 영국 런던에 있는 분중에
영국의 워크캠프 단체 직원들, 자원봉사자들과 함께
사무실에서 그리고 시내를 돌아다니며
워크캠프에 대해 소개하는 일일 자원봉사를 할 수 있는
워크캠프 경험이 있는 분들은 IWO로 연락해주시기 바랍니다.

Dear all you lovely people! I hope 2005 is sunny in your minds at least and you've fulfilled all your resolutions ...
We are planning an 'action day' for Saturday 12th March, when we'd like to get as many people as possible involved in spreading publicity for this year's workcamp programme. Last year, for various reasons, we struggled a little, and the workcamp programme tends to be our starting point for everything else. So it would be great to spread awareness through this day, building a stronger, happier YAPUK and enabling us to do a bundle of exciting things in the future. And it all falls nicely in time with the publication of our new logo, and new, far more glamorous leaflet.
The day will be broken roughly into 3 parts, and you are more than welcome to take part in all or any of them. Here is our rough plan, and we'll follow it with a more detailed plan nearer the time:
Morning (well, 11ish to 2ish...): Admin action in Sydenham (South East London).
- Looking for addresses of student unions, sending packages of leaflets, etc.
Afternoon (3ish to 6ish...): Moving action in Central London
- Taking leaflets to student unions, libraries, bars, the streets, and any creative ideas you feel inclined towards. In small groups.
Evening (well, from the moment we collapse ...) - A pub! Warm up, drink up, congratulate ourselves on our proactivity and general wonderfulness. Create a mutual appreciation society.
There you see the skeleton for the day. But it's open to your ideas, imagination, interests, mood and everything else. So if you'd like to join any part of the day, please contact us.
